We built clip.fm for two reasons:

  1. Editing clips takes hours
  2. Editors are expensive

Some podcasters end up not posting clips because of the hassle, which is a huge opportunity cost!

Making clips manually

There are a few tools people use to make clips today, such as Adobe Premiere, Descript, CapCut, and Riverside.

The issue with these tools is the amount of effort it takes to make a clip. The common denominator is that they all require a human to manually go thru the video and find the best clips. It can take hours or even several days!
